Analysis of Conditions for Cabotage in Road Haulage in Selected EU Country

The thesis describes conditions for carrying out cabotage in road freight transport, in comparison to current and past development at the EU level, and in transport policy of the EU described in the primary law. The most current changes at the field of cabotage are a good precondition for the future growth of this type of transport. The issue of cabotage could be described in three groups of topics, the first being the unified EU regulations of cabotage and conditions set for carrying out cabotage, the second concerns topics, that are similar in every EU country due to harmonization of national law, for example the payment of VAT, admission to the occupancy of road haulier or technical conditions for vehicles. The third group deals with matters that are different in every EU country, e.g. toll systems. Carrying out cabotage is therefore to be adjusted to all aforesaid conditions, which have a direct influence to the economical background of cabotage transports.
Carrier's Liability in International Carriage of Goods

The purpose of this thesis was to analyse and compare isseu of carrier's liability in international carriage of goods. Thesis is devided in seven parts, which offers outline of carrier's liability in particular modes of carriage. First part deals with term contract for the carriage according civil code, parts of this contract as well as another contracts which aim is carriage. Furthermore deals with term liability and put outline of distinction among strict liability and liability for fault. Last subchapter of first part describes term carriage. Second part describes legal framework of contract for the international carriage of goods and specifies distinction among choice of law and direct method. Remaining parts refer to carrier's liability according international treaties concerned with particular modes of carriage, i. e. international carriage of goods by road, by rail, by air, by sea and by inland waterways. Bigger attention is dedicated to third part which deals with carrier's liability in international carriage of goods by road. Topical issues of the regulation of international carriage Abstract The topic of this thesis is international air carriage and its legal regulation which is, due to the highly international nature of air carriage, mainly International and EU. The thesis is systematically divided into 5 main parts. The introductory part is focused on carriage and air carriage in general. It provides definitons of basic concepts, with which the following sections work, a brief historical outline and also current issues and challenges in international carriage, thus bringing this topic to the reader in a detailed perspective. Another discussed point are the international organizations authorized to issue legislation and how they have recently gone through some changes. The second part is dedicated to legislation; especially International and EU legislation. An Interpretation is also provided to the Czech legislation. However, this only plays a rather complementary role, resulting from the highly international character of air carriage. The following two parts are, according to the nature of air carriage, divided into cargo and passenger transport legislation and they are focused mainly on liability of an air carrier. Specifics of International Road Transport of Waste

Road freight transport in the European context is the most common and most affordable way of transport of any kind of goods. Reverse logistics is a new industry that is focused on re-use of unused material. The first part of the thesis focuses on specifics of international road transportation of waste. The thesis describes the conditions of'operations in transportation in the Czech Republic and Europe. It includes international agreements between the states of Europe that must be respected. It also examines how transportation affects the environment. The second part of the thesis is focused on a selected company Václav Cimburek CIVA trans. Based on observations and help of employee who provides all information on this issue, it solves how the transportation of waste takes place in the given company.

International transportation of art objects

The master´s thesis deals with the international transportation of art objects (for instance paintings, sculptures, etc.). The aim of diploma paper is to scrutinize the issues of transportation of works of art in the Czech Republic and beyond its borders. It includes different formalities, packing, laws, customs and insurance specifics. The application part contains analysis of the case study. It shows practises for transportation of art objects in Galerie Rudolfinum. Subsequently,it includes recommendations for the gallery. Moreover, there is an evaluation of weak points in the field of international transportation of works of art and outline of possible future trends.
Propose a system of intercontinental freight transport for commodities on specific company

The aim of my bachelor thesis was to propose a system of intercontinental freight transport for chosen commodities on specific company: VOLF. To reach the aim the determination of chosen commodities selected according to the Czech statistical office and company. At the end of each part about the transports from each continent, there is comparison of the kinds of transports among themselves and then the most effective way is chosen. They are compared from time, economic and general viewpoints.
Contemporary transport trends between Europe and Asia

The aim of this bachelor thesis is analyzing and specifying alternative ways of naval transportation in relation to Europe and Asia. In the introductory chapter are mentioned economic factors which have worldwide impact on direction and volume of cargo. The key part of this thesis deals with identification of road and railway corridors, which should alleviate contemporary overloaded naval transportation. Within the scope of this thesis is also introduced new technology called SkySail, which was designed for cargo ships in order to lower costs connected to fuel consumption and air pollution.

The thesis deals with the development of the particular terms of delivery of American interpretative rules RAFTD, mentions General terms of delivery MEAC marginally and in the most detail elaborates the interpretative rules Incoterms.
